vCampus

Our vCampus website, http://vcampus.acc.edu.au  is the 'virtual campus' of Christian Education Ministries. Students from Australian Christian College-International and from our various Distance Education Colleges are able to access this virtual campus.

Purpose

The purpose of the Campus website is to assist our students, families and staff in their educational and social interactions. Campus presents users with the following advantages:

• Improved interaction and relationships,
• Greater access to academic assistance and guidance, 
• Broadened learning style alternatives and curriculum choices and
• A reduction in isolation.

The three features of Campus are:

1.      Developing Community;

2.      Online Activities and

3.      Teaching Space.

1 - Developing Community - Campus brings us together!

The first stage of Campus is to facilitate community and relationship building. Because we all operate "at distance", we are separated from each other. vCampus community brings students, families and staff together.

2 - Online Activities and Courses - Campus provides more activities!

Stage two is to provide online educational activities and courses to complement your student's academic program. 

3 - Teaching Space - Campus provides more services!

The third stage is to build a 'teaching space' where students, staff and parents can work together.  This includes forums, allocated teaching sessions and chat.
