- Choose a room where your student can work with minimal distractions and that has good lighting and ventilation. This could be in a family room a spare room, a dining room or even at the kitchen table. All families differ on this one.
- If you have more than one student, each should have their own individual desk or work space.
- Ensure that you are always able to supervise your children.
- Display the student's Goal Card and Student Progress Chart in front of the student at his/her eye level.
- Ensure all score keys are located within your eye sight and away from the student's work space.
- Ensure all test and test keys are stored in a secure place away from students.
- Always follow the procedures in your Home Educators Manual.
