Senior Schooling

Welcome to Senior Schooling.

This is the first level of a post compulsory education.  Your electing to continue your education is also an opportunity to begin your engagement in an ongoing lifelong learning process, which will better equip you to manage your own future.

At a time when careers will experience many changes to keep pace with technological progress, a quality education is even more important, not only to cope with the changes but also to enable you to take control of that change and to shape your own future.  It is important, therefore, to take responsibility for your learning seriously, with the support of your family, and by making use of the communications network available through Australian Christian College International. We are here to assist you if you are struggling in a subject, or finding difficulty meeting deadlines.

You can contact us if you need help to get back on track or for any related academic issues or general inquiries.

Student Portfolio and Profile upon completion of Grade 10.

At the end of Grade 10, eligible students receive a Portfolio, which contains a Grade 10 Certificate (either an Academic Certificate or a General Certificate).  The Portfolio also  lists all subjects studied and their results.  The Portfolio also has provision for documents relevant to prospective employers, training organizations or tertiary institutions.

Student Portfolio and Profile upon completion of Grade 12.

At the completion of Grade 12 students receive their Year 12 Certificate (either an Academic Certificate or a General Certificate) in a Portfolio which also includes a scope and sequence, a transcript of all subjects studied and their results and a Reference from the College.

For students seeking university entry:

Students with a Year 12 Certificate can sit for the SAT Reasoning Test to determine university entry. The SAT Reasoning Test is an internationally recognized, tertiary aptitude test used in 138 countries and provides one of a number of pathways to university entry. It is also the preferred pathway used by Australian Christian College International.  In any Australian state, for example, the combination of the Year 12 Academic Certificate and a SAT score provides the tertiary admissions authority with an equivalent tertiary entry ranking, which provides the student with eligibility for tertiary admission.
