Learning to Read

Australian Christian College - International provides an excellent learning to read program. It is called ABC's with Ace and Christi.

This program takes a phonics approach to the teaching of reading. It takes the student through the basic phonemes of the English language. It teaches the blending of sounds and equips the child with word attack skills.

The program is a combination of

• Songs
• Games

This is an excellent course for the teaching of reading. It can be used as a stand alone course to teach reading or elements can be used to remediate reading problems in older students. ACC-I staff are available to make recommendations for your student about these matters.
